Honorary Kuomintang chairman Lien Chan returned yesterday from Shanghai, where Wang Yi, director of the Taiwan Office of the State Council in Beijing, announced 130 billion RMBs (NT$624 billion or US$19 billion) would be made available as credit to Taiwan businesses in China.
